Title
Excel Demonstration

Abstract

Demonstration of Microsoft's Excel software. In computing, Microsoft Excel (full name Microsoft Office Excel) consists of a proprietary spreadsheet-application written and distributed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables and, except for Excel 2008 for Mac OS X, a macro programming language called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). It is overwhelmingly the dominant spreadsheet application available for these platforms and has been so since version 5 in 1993, and is bundled as part of

Title
MathCad Demo

Abstract

Mathcad is desktop software for performing and documenting engineering and scientific calculations. First introduced in 1986 on MS-DOS, it was the first to introduce live editing of typeset mathematical notation, combined with its automatic computation. It was also the first to automatically compute and check consistency of engineering units such as the International System of Units (SI). Mathcad today includes some of the capabilities of a computer algebra system but remains oriented towards ease of use and numerical engineering applications. Mathcad was conceived and originally written by Allen Razdow (of MIT), co-founder of Mathsoft which is now part of

Title
How to upload video on researchusa.org

Abstract

This video shows how to upload videos on researchusa.org.

An step by step instruction sheet is available here.

While anyone can view and use most of the information contained in the portal, only registered members can upload videos. Registration is free and easy and can be done by filling in a form available here. A registered user can log in to the portal with his login and password and click the UPLOAD button located at the top right hand corner of the portal or click on the 'Upload Video' link just below the search field. An upload form appears where a few fields are mandatory and a few are optional. While most video formats are allowed, sometimes there are codec issues because of which a file, although uploaded, will not be playable. In some of these cases, file size shows as 0KB and runtime shows as 0:00 secs. In such cases, the user has to use some program (one is linked on the upload page of our portal to convert a file into flv and can be found

Title
Rasterbator

Abstract

Tiled printing, sometimes known as rasterbating, is a feature of many computer programs that enables them to print images larger than a standard page. The program overlays a grid on the printed image in which each cell (or tile) is the size of a printed page and then prints each tile. A person can then arrange the tiles to reconstruct the full image.Tiled printing has been widespread since the days of mainframe computers. Programs were available to convert images to ASCII art that, when printed large enough and viewed sufficiently far away, appeared to be smoothly shaded.Another form of tiled printing, inspired by continuous feed printers, involves making a long message of letters, possibly with inline graphics of the same height, and printing it sideways over several pages to make a banner. This type of printing is usually associated with
